Russian Ag Min sees grain exports at 35 mln tns ‘18–19

NOVOANNINSKY, Volgograd Region, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The Agriculture Ministry forecasts that grain exports from Russia will reach 35 million tonnes in the 2018–2019 agricultural year, Deputy Minister Oksana Lut told reporters on Wednesday.

“We cannot forecast the volume just yet since we have not harvested everything. Therefore, we confirm the figure of 35 million tonnes announced earlier by the agriculture minister,” Lut said.

The 2018–2019 agricultural year started on July 1 and will end on June 30, 2019.
